Mentor Workshops
The reason that FIRST works is that engineering, technology and business professionals become directly involved with students. By sharing their love of their profession, mentors guide students through hands-on projects, open students' imaginations to new career possibilities and act as role models to the team members.
This year we will offer mentor/volunteer recruitment and training sessions. We will hold these Recruitment “Info Sessions” on site at companies. We welcome anyone interested in scheduling an Info Session or attending the Mentor workshop to contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Matt is a FIRST Alum from New Horizons Governor’s School, FIRST FRC mentor, graduate of VCU School of Engineering, and holds an engineering position at US Patent and Trade Office.
